Potty training is at the top of our to-do list these days, which translates into lots of messes, nakedness (as evidenced above), and patience. Also, due to potty training, we've been stuck in the house more than usual, which has led to a lot of stir crazy.
The neighbors have got to think we're absolutely crazy. For the record, we don't let Mason run around outside naked. The problem lies in that he can get his underwear off to go potty, but can't always get them back on. In the above case, he so kindly took his pants off, used our garage as his personal potty, and came out riding Maddie's scooter . . . all the while, so very proud of himself. At this stage of the game, I'll take what I can get.
Today was the first day that I was brave enough to venture out with Mason in underwear. He does not do good in pull-ups at all. It totally defeats the point for us. So, today was D-Day, and we took our first trip out. I'm proud to report that it went great. We even stopped mid-shopping for him to go potty (yay Mas!). He's done great for the last couple of days, but then this afternoon, he decided that it was fun to pee on his hands. Not even kidding . . . totally disgusting . . .
Boys! Maddie never pulled anything like this.
Patience . . .
And a lot of deep breathing . . .
And a lot of cleaning supplies . . .
