INK

INK - an interactive kids museum.

I've never heard of such a place until Kristen suggested we meet up there. What a neat place this was! I would even venture to classify it as a "hidden gem". For only $8, children 2 and older can play until their little hearts are content (children under 2 play for free). With it being located in Gainesville, visits for us will unfortunately be limited to special occasions, which visiting with the McCords' most certainly is! He's a rundown of the afternoon:

Maddie and Hanky at the grocery store

Kristen and Ella Kate

Even Mason got to play

The Bank

The "Money Tree" - Maddie told me she needed a credit card to get it to work.
So smart!

The Diner

Mason eating corn . . . no telling how
many germs he got from sucking on this!

Ella Kate checking us out

Ella Kate, Hanky and Mason playing with the trains

This is how they said goodbye . . .

Last night we had Pre-K orientation for Maddie. I must say that Pre-K can't come soon enough. It only took me a few weeks to totally break the years of good behavior that her teachers taught her so well. Please, fix my Maddie. I broke her.

Thank goodness for the kind ol' gambling folks in Georgia whose obsessions/addictions fund my little girl's kindergarten prep. In fact, the funding is so plentiful that there is NO school supply list. That's right - it's ALL funded by the state lottery, except for food of course!

Monday can't come soon enough.
